09.26.2011 - A GOOD CAST DESERVES ANOTHER PICTURE Enjoy the new top banner! I've been wanting to make a better banner graphic since the day I first put the original banner up there. Better late than never! 08.16.2011 - RE-UNCRIPPLED Please accept my profuse apologies for falling behind again on the updates. I have no excuses this time. My wrist and eyes are just fine. Afterimage will finish off its first issue within the month. You also may notice the pages are formatted differently. The comic is now being prepped for publication in a manga-sized volume once all three issues are finished. Since the comic is still in its early pages, I decided to go ahead and switch formats, and retroactively reformat the first seven pages as neccessary. (The old pages will not be reformatted until issue one is finished. Otherwise the second half of this issue would be delayed even longer.) Enjoy these pages! I hope they are worth the wait. 06.28.2011 - UNCRIPPLED The good news is that I'm successfully staving off any danger of hand or eye damage. Unfortuantely, I'm going to have to play it safe and keep my workload light this week. I'm building up a buffer of pages and hopefully we'll be able to ride out the rest of Issue 1 without any further trouble. The comic will resume with weekday updates on Monday, July 4. Thanks for your patience! 06.14.2011 - AFTER TEN YEARS IT SHOULD BE Happy Tuesday, everybody, or as it's known to PC gamers across the country, Duke Nukem Forever Release Day. I have some unfortunate news. It's being delayed some more. No, not Duke Nukem, I mean Afterimage. All the drawing I've been doing and late nights have accumulated to the point where I am having trouble with my right hand and eyes. This past weekend was supposed to be spent drawing new pages of Afterimage, among other things, but instead I had to give my body a break and kept the work to a minimum. For the next week I'm adhering to a strict schedule of working only until my eyes or hands start bothering me, then I have to stop for the day. No exceptions. I'm trying to rest up and hopefully you will see one or two pages come out this week and we can finish up this first act of Part I. I apologize for the release of this new mini-series being plagued with scheduling mishaps. I started it off on the wrong foot and it's been getting worse ever since, and I take full responsibility. You will see progress, it will just take a little longer than planned. Thank you for sticking with me and the comic. 05.30.2011 - DECADE TWO Welcome back to Unfamiliar Reflection! Ten years ago this month, Unfamiliar Reflection debuted with issue #1 and was a smash hit...at least, at my high school it was. It feels like another lifetime, and it's likely Emri can say the same about all the experiences she had during the twelve issues of the series. But now a new chapter has begun. Set one year after regaining her original body, Emri is about to embark on a new adventure. We'll see some familiar faces and some new ones, and eventually find out who is giving the recap narration on page one.
